Games Like Fortnite – Equipping itself through the swarming genre of battle royal games, Fortnite sets itself apart by putting off the out dated military simulation feel and replacing it with vivid colors, and freeform building. Fortnite was developed and published by Epic Games and was released in 2017. Currently, it is distributed into two different games; Fortnite: Save The World– designed as player versus environment game, with four players cooperating towards a common objective on various missions and Fortnite Battle Royale- a player-versus-player battle royale game that can be up to 100 players.

Focusing on Fortnite Battle Royale, it became a huge hit when it took off. Having up to 100 players against each other whether in solo, duo, or up to four-player groups, it is exciting to see who survives the longest in a shrinking map. The cartoony look makes it not look gory even when there is persistent violence.

This game is rated T for Violence by ESRB and can be played with MacOS, Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Games Like Fortnite

PlayerUnknown’s like pubg

First Games Like Fortnite was  PUBG, an online multiplayer battle royale game was developed and published by PUBG Corporation. This game released in 2017 for Microsoft Windows is based on mods created by Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene for other games using the film Battle Royale as inspiration. With 100 players stuffed in a parachute to go down an abandoned island, every player takes whatever weapon, armor and supplies they can in hopes of surviving a battle fight. As similar it is to most battleground games, PUBG stands out as the most accessible and mechanically refined battle royale to date.

H1Z1: Battle Royalegames like h1z1

Second Games Like Fortnite was H1Z1 Practically the same as PUBG, you start the game off with up to 150 people parachuting down to a small and constantly dwindling map. It originally started as zombie survival game but after a few months, the developers, Daybreak Game Company added an edgy battle royale multiplayer mode. It got renamed one too many times but in its release February of this year, it used H1Z1 and kept to its name as one of the best loot box systems there was.

Last Man Standinggames like last man standing

Third Games Like Fortnite was Last man Standing This free-for-all, fre-ro-play Battle Royale game makes it exciting for you to fight for your life against 100 players. Scavenge and hunt the surrounding for weapons and supplies as you have nothing to start with. Better be on the look out for opponents as they try to survive the same world you are in with nothing but the same things you have.

Maelstromgames like maelstrom

Fourth Games Like Fortnite was Maelstrom Set in a post-aocalyptic future, behind an ecological disaster that brought earth to submersion, game play requires players to build bases while harvesting resources. Players can command and put into groups several units and issue orders from bird’s eye view. They can also take control of a faction’s hero unit and play the game from a third-person perspective.

The Cullinggames like the culling

Fifth Games Like Fortnite was The Culling The latest of battle royale games, The Culling is a cheap H1Z1 clone. Players start off in an arena with buildings containing loot. The arena may either be a small island or a prison. Once players have completed tasks that includes killing other players or surviving, they receive FUNC – the in game currency that can be used to craft equipment. Poor presentation that only gets worse during fights kind of waned the popularity off from this game.
